Weekend Scenes

Thursday, September 18

I could make an estimated guess that I spend 45% of my life on the A46 in my truck at the moment. The bright side to all this driving around the country though is the wonderful places I get to visit. This weekend I travelled from Lincolnshire to Gloucestershire to Wiltshire and back again. I caught up with my lovely friend Emily, who despite living four hours from my house, I see more than I do my friend 20 minutes down the road! We had a relaxing, and much needed early, night of wine, fish and chips and chatter. The fact that we sat and watched despicable me with £20 worth of sweets under a duvet is neither here nor there.

The second part of my, long, weekend was spent in the beautiful Cotswold's. The pretty buildings and rolling hills are fast becoming one of my favourite places to visit. I'm even getting used to driving down hills. This weekend also marked a year since I made the choice to change my life. The past year has seen my life completely turn upside down and back round again, but I think I can firmly say that I wouldn't have had it any other way.
